Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains, in plain English, what information Tran Group collects when you contact us through this website, why we collect it, how we handle it, and the choices you have.

Last updated: June 28, 2026

Introduction and scope

In this policy, "Tran Group," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Tran Group, a New York real-estate redevelopment firm that acquires and renovates distressed New York City buildings and brings them to current code.

This policy applies to information you submit through trangroup.org — specifically, the inquiry form on this website. The site is a marketing and lead-generation site only: it does not offer bookings, online payments, or user accounts. If you do not contact us through the form, we do not collect personal information that identifies you.

Information we collect

When you submit the contact form, we collect the information you choose to provide:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • The type of inquiry you select
  • The message you write
  • Your phone number (optional)
  • Your company or organization (optional)

We do not collect payment information, and the form does not create an account. The form also includes a hidden field used only to detect automated spam; if anything is entered into it, we discard the submission and store nothing.

When you visit the site, our hosting and content-delivery providers may automatically collect limited technical and log data — such as your IP address, browser type and user-agent, and timestamps — for security, fraud prevention, and reliability. We use this information only to operate and protect the site.

How and why we use information

We use the information you submit to:

  • Read your inquiry and respond to it
  • Maintain a reasonable record of our correspondence with you
  • Operate, secure, and troubleshoot the website
  • Comply with applicable law and protect our legal rights

When you submit the form and check the consent box, you are telling us you would like us to contact you about what you sent. That consent is the basis on which we use your information to reply.

Cookies and similar technologies

This site sets only essential and functional cookies needed to operate reliably and securely; these come from our hosting and content-delivery infrastructure. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not engage in cross-site or cross-context behavioral tracking.

Because we do not track you across sites, there is no cross-site activity to disable. Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal; given that we run no such tracking, our practices are the same whether or not that signal is present.

How we share information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We also do not “share” it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are used under California law.

We disclose your information only to the service providers (processors) that help us operate this site and respond to you, and only so they can perform those tasks on our behalf under obligations of confidentiality. We may also disclose information if we are required to do so by law, or where we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Tran Group, our users, or the public.

Service providers and sub-processors

We rely on a small set of established providers to run this site. Each acts as a processor on our behalf, under contractual confidentiality, and only for the purposes described in this policy:

  • Vercel — website hosting and content delivery (CDN)
  • Supabase — database hosting for the inquiries you submit
  • Resend — sending the notification email that lets us respond to you
  • Cloudflare — DNS and content delivery (CDN)

Data retention

We keep inquiries only as long as we need them to respond and to maintain a reasonable record of our correspondence. When an inquiry is no longer needed for those purposes, we delete it. We keep information longer only where the law requires us to do so.

Data security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect the information you submit. That said, no method of transmission over the internet, or of electronic storage, is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Where information is processed

Tran Group operates in the United States, and the information you submit is primarily processed and stored in the United States. If you contact us from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be handled here.

Your choices and rights

You may ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and withdraw the consent you gave when you contacted us. To make any of these requests, email anna@trangroup.org and we will take care of it.

Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), gives you specific rights regarding your personal information. The categories of personal information we collect through this site are:

  • Identifiers — such as your name, email address, and phone number
  • Commercial and inquiry content — the inquiry type, your message, and your company or organization
  • Internet or network activity — limited technical and log data (such as IP address and browser type) collected automatically by our infrastructure

We collect this information directly from you when you submit the form, and automatically through our hosting and content-delivery providers. We use it for the business purposes described in “How and why we use information” above. We do not sell or share personal information.

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request deletion of your personal information, to request correction of inaccurate information, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (note that we do not sell or share it). We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

To submit a request, email anna@trangroup.org. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf; we may ask the agent for proof of authorization and may need to verify your identity before we act on the request.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 years of age. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and we will post any material changes here. Your continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
